Family Photography FAQs

What do I wear?

It is entirely up to you what you wear, formal, casual or perhaps a theme, this is something we will discuss with you at the pre-shoot meeting.

What do I need to bring to the shoot?

Well, obviously yourselves plus anything that will help the kids feel at home, favourite toys, comforters etc this is something we will discuss with you at the pre-shoot meeting.

Do I need to do my hair and makeup?

You may well want the natural look but obviously you want to look your best so we have a large changing and make-up room available if required. We can also arrange hairstylists and make-up artists for more formal shots and model portfolios this is something we will discuss with you at the pre-shoot meeting.

How many people can be in the shoot?

We can comfortably accommodate 10-15 people in the studio shooting area, however we can accommodate larger groups by arrangement.

Can I have individual and group photographs at the same time?

Yes, we can photograph just the kids, just the parents or any combination. This is something we will discuss with you at the pre-shoot meeting to ensure we get all the photographs you want.

Do you come to the home?

Whilst we can come to your home if health or mobility prevents you coming to the studio, it is often not practical or economical to clear an area of your home and bring in all the necessary lighting and equipment. However we undertake commercial shoots in all sorts of locations so nothing is impossible, but costs would obviously be higher.
